Hello, World!
This is my first post about my Flatiron school journey, which started on the 11th of January, 2021 and has been one of the most exciting experiences so far.
Actually, this journey has been more like a roller coaster, where I’m at the top now but at the bottom the next minute, only to find myself pushing upwards again. Then I raise my hands in joy of getting on top of it, just to be crushed again by another yet more fascinating concept.
Even though I feel like I’ve come a long way, I do realize that the journey is just starting and I still have a long(er) way to go.
In three weeks, I’ve built upon my previous knowledge of setting variables, creating methods, and controlling execution flow to creating OO programs that utilize web-application frameworks and ORMs to enable a real life user both to access records from a database and perform a function like purchasing an item, or saving it for later.
Of course, this is all still framework, but with all resources available to me, as well as a support network that encourage me and positively challenge me to move out of my comfort zone and learn more, I believe that my goal of becoming a full stack software engineering will soon be a reality.
In the following days, I will be posting more about my journey and the interesting things I learn.
Thanks for reading!
